SUSTAINABILITY. RESPONSIBILITY.

We build trusting relationships with our suppliers and grow the AROT family, serving food that’s inspired by, and reflects the changing seasons. We believe that food is much more than just fuel, it’s about bringing together family and the community – a place where friendships flourish and ideas are born. We nourish all of these things when we eat well.

FARMER TOM JONES

BEEF, LAMB + RARE BREED MEATS /

The man, The myth... Farmer Tom rears Hereford and Dexter beef along with a few traditional breeds of lamb and mutton at his farm in west Herefordshire. Tom’s meats are hands down the best grass fed, hung for a month, jam packed with flavour we have ever tasted. Reared using traditional farming methods, Tom champions the fact that all the animals have led happy, trouble free lives... and now bring you happiness by being central to a cracking plate of nosh.

Droitwich salt

Sustainable brine salt.

Droitwich Salt is sourced from one of the oldest and purest brine springs in the world, we use it because of its superior flavour, from seasoning our patties at the Burger Shop to sprinkling on our Sunday roast potatoes in The Bookshop.

Churchfields Saltworks harvests the salt by hand and crystallising the natural brine into this white gold is all done using renewable energy.

A Rule of Tum has always been about using local suppliers and growing a community, and we are proud to say that all of our salt comes from Droitwich Salt, less than 40 miles from our restaurants.

After living in Ireland for a couple of years to continue his studies in Kilkenny, Steve returned home to set up his very own ceramics studio on the outskirts of Herefordshire.

We’re huge fans of Steve and love his approach when it comes to anything he’s working on, whether it’s on large or small projects, his passion throughout his creative process really shines through.
